I used only the greens from the kit to compliment my photos of the lovely tree peonies at Linwood Garden.  They were definitely "splashes of color" in the garden... every color you could imagine!

The colors were so soft and sweet, I just had to highlight these baby photos of my great nephews and great niece!  They really have my heart like no other children I know!

I love Spring, and I was totally inspired by Dana's Footprint Digital Design GROW WITH LOVE

My first layout used GROW WITH LOVE  Mini 01 and a freebie template from Dana's Footprint Digital Design offered with the March Mixology.  Find it HERE ! 

The photos was taken at Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Co - one of my "go-to" places to visit when we go to Denver!

Layout #2 features GROW WITH LOVE (elements, solid paper, and patterned paper) and the freebie template currently on the blog HERE 

Photos taken at the Tree Peoni Festival at Linwood Gardens, Pavilion, New York.  I found an advertisement for the Festival in a tourist newspaper, and we were luckily there in time to see this beautiful private garden in full bloom. The peonies were amazing!!!!

Layout #3 features GROW WITH LOVE (elements, shabby solid paper, and patterned paper) and a freebie template I collected in 2015 from Akizo Designs.

The photo was taken at Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, Texas!  I love to visit and photograph the gorgeous azalea collection there!  (And yes, it is ONE photo-the plant colors are mixed beautifully!)

Here's one more layout with GROW WITH LOVE (elements, shabby solid paper, and patterned paper) and a template from Jen C Designs LIFE'S SNAPSHOTS Set 2 ... I love how beautifully this template allowed me to feature the lovely patterned papers in the collection, without forfeiting the focus on the photograph of the azaleas at Zilker Botanical Gardens!

Sailing into the Sunset - everyone's dream, right?

I love slicing photos and this one turned out to have the perfect "slice" for my photo - Sailing into the Sunset taken on Lake Belton in July 2000.  We had a picnic on the dock (instead of the island) due to a surprise shower that came at just about sailing time.  Fortunately for me and my camera, the weather cleared and we were able to get out into the big lake just in time for this sweet sunset!  It turned out to be a glorious evening!  Of course, there was no chance of overnight camping on the island, and breakfast over the campfire, but sailing with friends was almost as sweet!

It was recently used in Go Digital Scrapbooking's SUPREME TEAM 22 Contest!

He may not exactly be a "prince" but this kit gave me a vehicle to honor that "special" guy in my life!  He's BEST FRIEND, yard guy and house fixer supreme, travel companion, dinner date,  etc....  We've discussed it many times over the last 19 years together ... just which one of us is "the lucky one!"  We still disagree!  LOL!  Layout features KISS A PRINCE  and ARTISTIC COMPOSITIONS I template pack , both at Altered Amanda's Studio at Go Digital Scrapbooking! 

Mike's sister took this photo of us at Watkins Glen State Park, New York! After the three of us climbed the 2+ miles up the slot canyon, sweet Mike went down for the car and drove up to get us!  ... yeah, I think I'm "the lucky one!"
